About you:
Born and raised in Nigeria, moved to Selma, Alabama some years ago. Currently working at Rural Health Medical Program Inc. Alabama. I am Christian, an advocate, and a teacher. I’m passionate about women, teen and community health, as well as patient education. I love event planning, baking and gardening, and I’m also a proud member of the Rotary Club of Selma.
Favorite thing about Selma?
“I was motivated to form our community doc during my residency training in Selma, where I saw the need for patient education and community outreach. I love the people of Selma; their warmth and hospitality inspire me to do even better at my medical services”.
Why did you join OC Doc?
I consider it a privilege to care for the people of Selma and neighboring counties. I strive to improve and contribute to the overall community and rural health by promoting helpful lifestyle practices and community events.

Immigrated from Nigeria, lived in Selma for years before moving to Louisiana. I love travelling and immersing myself in different cultures.
Favorite thing about Selma?
​The people. Regardless of where you are from, they would welcome you with open arms and make you feel like family. I have many memories in Selma and I consider it my second home.
Why did you join OC Doc?
​This presented a wonderful chance to give back and improve this community that has given me so much.

Why did you join OC Doc?
​I am interested in giving back to this community, which is why I decided to be a part of an organization like our community doc. I am interested in improving access to health information especially in rural communities with the goal of increasing access to healthcare overall.
